Q: When can I sign up?

A: Right away! Registrations taken first come, first served! Use any of five ways!

1. Call us at (979) 277-3895

2. Online at www.brenhamcommunityed.com

3. Fax in registration at (979) 277-3896

5. Walk in at 1301 South Market Street, Brenham, TX 77833 between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Q: Can I sign up late?

A: You can sign up right up to the class day! However, classes may not be offered due to the small number of registrations. It's better to sign up quickly when you are interested in a class to save yourself a place and to ensure that the class will have enough participants. If your plans change, you may cancel and receive a refund (see notes below). Note: Instructors do not register students in class!

Q: What payment options are available?

A: We accept all major forms of payment.

Q: Where do classes meet?

A: Classes meet in a variety of locations throughout the Brenham Community. Many classes are held at Brenham High School, the Brenham Community Education Building, and Blinn College. However, classes may occur in a special location such as Washington on the Brazos, the Bluebell Aquatic Center, and local businesses. Check the location of the class you are interested in. Call 277-3895 if you need more information on the location of the class.

Q: What is the Refund Policy?

A: Refunds will automatically be made if a class is cancelled by Brenham Community Education. Sorry, no refunds are given the day the class starts. All refunds will be paid by check request from Brenham ISD's Business Office. Credit card refunds will be credited to your credit card. A $10 cancellation fee will be charged for customer requested refunds prior to registration deadline.

Q: When are classes cancelled?

A: Classes will be cancelled the morning of the scheduled start date if the minimum enrollment is not met, unless otherwise stated. Brenham Community Education reserves the right to cancel classes, change times or locations, substitute instructors as deemed necessary. You will be notified only if the class is cancelled. A $10 cancellation fee will be charged for customer requested refunds prior to registration deadline.

Q: Do classes meet during the holidays?

A: The regular Brenham ISD school calendar is followed. Unless specific arrangements are made, there are no classes during school holidays.

Q: Can I sign up late?

A: Please register early. Instructors need a few days notice before they begin classes and supplies and materials must be purchased prior to the first day of class. Some classes are cancelled because students do not register early enough.

Q: What happens in case of inclement weather?

A: Brenham Community Education will not have classes if the schools are closed. Make-up classes will be scheduled when classes are closed due to inclement weather, if time permits.

Q: How do I know that I am signed up?

A: If you register online, you will receive confirmation by email. If you register in other ways you will automatically be registered and a confirmation will be given to you.

Q: Can I use tobacco, alcohol, or drugs in class?

A: Tobacco, alcohol, and other drugs are prohibited on all school property (buildings and grounds).

Q: How Can I Contact you?

A: Call 979-277-3895 or come by at 1301 South Market Street in Brenham.
